4-10 Hogs has strived to build a good quality herd from some of the top genetics in the industry. We maintain a strong herd of sows and use artifcial insemination to produce pigs that compete at local, regional, and state shows. In addition to a silent auction in the spring, we offer PA Farm Show pigs in the fall. In addtion to our breeding program, our feeding program compliments our genetics to produce champions. Since we feed only top quality grain to our feeder hogs, strive to maintain a clean facility, and keep a healthy herd, the pork that comes from our farm exceeds our customers expectations. We deliver the pig to the processor. The processor takes a customized cutting order providing a variety options including pork chops, bacon, ham, sausage, and much, much more. Then the meat is packaged and prepared for the customer to pick it up. We charge a per pound price based on hanging weight and then a processing fee is paid to the butcher. Using years of experience we practice the art of pig roasting on a custome roaster to provide customers with the best pulled pork in area. Customers invite us to cater the meat at their wedding receptions, graduation parties, family reunions, company picnics, and special events.
